May 9, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 2600 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3274 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1827 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Monday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. FLEXTRONICS INTL LTD (NASDAQ:FLEX), SIRIUS XM RADIO INC (NASDAQ:SIRI), INTEL CORP (NASDAQ:INTC), XEROX CORP (NYSE:XRX), GAFISA SA-ADR (NYSE:GFA), UNIVERSAL BIOENERGY INC (OTC:UBRG). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction

     SIRI $-0.040 -1.80% 43,104,226 45.34% 53,071,346 55.82% -9,967,120 -2,491,780

     XRX $-0.070 -0.68% 3,524,764 24.05% 6,082,521 41.51% -2,557,757 -365,394
     GFA $-0.320 -2.88% 1,207,504 22.39% 2,836,069 52.59% -1,628,565 -50,893
     UBRG $-0.014 -12.84% 3,068,206 35.75% 5,514,813 64.25% -2,446,607 -1,747,576
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows FLEX down $-0.09000 with a Friction Factor of -156,532 and a Net Volume of -1,408,792. That means that it takes 156,532 more shares of selling than buying to drop FLEX by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
