April 8, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 2368 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1988 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3397 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. LITHIUM TECHNOLOGY CORP (OTC:LTHU), ISHARES MSCI EMERGING MKT IN (NYSE:EEM), VANGUARD EMERGING MARKET ETF (NYSE:VWO), MERCK & CO. INC. (NYSE:MRK), SPRINT NEXTEL CORP (NYSE:S), US FARMS INC (OTC:USFM). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     LTHU $0.022 98.66% 9,483,310 63.33% 5,390,014 36.00% 4,093,296 1,852,170
     EEM $0.050 0.10% 32,596,584 59.64% 23,778,451 43.51% 8,818,133 1,763,627
     VWO $0.080 0.16% 9,856,049 54.27% 8,474,168 46.66% 1,381,881 172,735
     MRK $0.340 1.02% 9,410,535 51.17% 7,455,427 40.54% 1,955,108 57,503
     S $0.100 2.16% 28,751,521 50.19% 23,540,731 41.09% 5,210,790 521,079
     USFM $0.024 161.74% 7,966,345 66.88% 3,939,577 33.07% 4,026,768 1,670,858
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows LTHU with a Net Buy Volume of 4,093,296 shares and a Friction Factor of 1,852,170 shares. That means that it takes 1,852,170 more shares of buying than selling to move LTHU higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
