November 26, 2010 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 2463 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1767 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3015 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Supatcha Res Inc (OTCBB:SAEI), NEW GENERATION BIOFUELS HOLD (NASDAQ:NGBF), SUNESIS PHARMACEUTICALS INC (NASDAQ:SNSS), FORD MOTOR CO (NYSE:F), MATTEL INC (NASDAQ:MAT), ISHARES BARCLAYS 20+ YEAR TR (NYSE:TLT). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     SAEI $0.028 20.74% 2,683,407 73.24% 952,511 26.00% 1,730,896 618,177
     NGBF $0.020 28.57% 4,002,173 76.14% 1,254,186 23.86% 2,747,987 1,373,994
     SNSS $0.040 11.76% 4,413,330 63.94% 2,488,542 36.06% 1,924,788 481,197
     F $0.120 0.75% 15,729,216 50.13% 13,277,955 42.32% 2,451,261 204,272
     MAT $0.270 1.08% 4,536,215 76.37% 1,495,860 25.19% 3,040,355 112,606
     TLT $1.330 1.39% 3,699,530 76.33% 1,940,431 40.04% 1,759,099 13,226

Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows TLT with a Net Buy Volume of 1,759,099 shares and a Friction Factor of 13,226 shares. That means that it takes 13,226 more shares of buying than selling to move TLT higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
