JMG Exploration Inc. Announces Receipt of Payment Pursuant to Settlement of Defaulted Loan to Newco Group Ltd.

PASADENA, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--JMG Exploration, Inc., (aJMGa) (OTC:JMGE) reported that it received $1.9 million as payment in full pursuant to a previously announced Settlement Agreement between Newco Group Ltd. (aNewcoa), and Iris Computers Ltd. (Iris) in regards to a defaulted $3 million loan to Newco. JMG recognized a gain on settlement of $750,000 in the 4th quarter of 2009.
