TCW's Tad Rivelle to Hold Conference Call on TCW Total Return Bond Fund

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 10, 2009) - The TCW Group, Inc. invites you to participate in a conference call Friday, December 11 with Tad Rivelle, portfolio manager of the TCW Total Return Bond Fund (NASDAQ: [ TGLMX ]). Upon completion of the transaction with Metropolitan West Asset Management (MetWest), Mr. Rivelle will become Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of TCW's High-Grade Fixed Income Group.

Rivelle, a co-founder of MetWest, joined TCW in 2009 when TCW announced it signed an agreement to acquire MetWest. Under Tad's leadership, the MetWest investment team was recognized as Morningstar's Fixed Income Manager of the Year for 2005.
