TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 26, 2009) - Richview Resources Inc. ("Richview") (TSX:RVR) announced today it is holding its Annual Meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 9.30 am Eastern Standard Time at 320 Bay Street, Suite 1600, Toronto, Ontario in order to receive the audited financial statements of the Corporation for the year ended December 31, 2008 and to elect directors and appoint auditors for the ensuing year.

The board of directors of Richview has fixed October 19, 2009 as the record date for the determination of shareholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the Meeting and any adjournment thereof.

Richview shareholders will receive a notice of meeting, a management information circular, a form of proxy, Richview's audited financial statements and management's discussion and analysis for the year ended December 31, 2008, a supplemental mailing list return card and a return envelope.

A shareholder who is unable to attend the Meeting in person and who wishes to ensure that such shareholder's shares will be voted at the Meeting is requested to complete, date and execute the form of proxy and deliver it by facsimile, by hand or by mail in accordance with the instructions set out in the form of proxy and in the management information circular.
