  • SBI Mutual Fund launching active Quant fund with rule-based approach, integrating momentum, value, quality, and growth factors.

SBI Mutual Fund has launched a new quantitative fund named SBI Equity Minimum Variance Fund, which is based on four key factors: quality, value, momentum, and low volatility. This fund aims to provide investors with a diversified equity portfolio that minimizes risk while seeking to maximize returns. The strategy involves selecting stocks that exhibit strong fundamentals (quality), are undervalued (value), show positive price trends (momentum), and have lower price fluctuations (low volatility). The fund will be managed by Raviprakash Sharma and is designed to cater to investors looking for a balanced approach to equity investment with a focus on risk-adjusted returns. The new fund offer (NFO) for this scheme opened on December 21, 2023, and will close on January 4, 2024.
