April 17, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5121 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4177 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2159 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), SPDR S&P 500 (NYSE:SPY), Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLP), MMEX MINING CORP (OTC:MMEX). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLF $0.390 0.02% 33,271,265 37.18% 26,458,325 29.57% 6,812,940 174,691
  EEM $0.380 0.01% 13,294,343 39.82% 6,940,268 20.79% 6,354,075 167,213
  SPY $1.980 0.01% 17,791,613 29.83% 13,241,701 22.20% 4,549,912 22,979
  PFE $0.120 0.00% 6,710,469 39.88% 3,650,359 21.69% 3,060,110 255,009
  XLP $0.390 0.01% 6,068,088 47.06% 1,374,018 10.66% 4,694,070 120,361
  MMEX $0.014 1.07% 99,541,092 56.04% 78,074,899 43.96% 21,466,193 14,907,078
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLF with a Net Buy Volume of 6,812,940 shares and a Friction Factor of 174,691 shares. That means that it takes 174,691 more shares of buying than selling to move XLF higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
