March 20, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5546 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2577 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3312 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU), Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD), Itau Unibanco Holding S.A. (NYSE:ITUB), Capitol Acquisition Corp II (NASDAQ:CLAC), U.S. Stem Cell Inc. (OTC:USRM). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  PFE $0.060 0.00% 6,982,563 38.35% 4,915,250 26.99% 2,067,313 344,552
  MU $0.470 0.02% 10,225,945 38.49% 8,265,284 31.11% 1,960,661 41,716
  AMD $0.940 0.07% 35,220,477 38.93% 31,775,609 35.12% 3,444,868 36,648
  ITUB $0.250 0.02% 10,213,852 33.24% 7,915,695 25.76% 2,298,157 91,926
  CLAC $0.100 0.01% 3,539,428 66.16% 701,950 13.12% 2,837,478 283,748
  USRM $0.013 0.41% 33,516,882 52.93% 29,804,807 47.07% 3,712,075 2,922,894
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE with a Net Buy Volume of 2,067,313 shares and a Friction Factor of 344,552 shares. That means that it takes 344,552 more shares of buying than selling to move PFE higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
