February 27, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5428 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3610 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2562 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Monday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Procter & Gamble Co (NYSE:PG), SPDR Barclays Capital International Treasury Bond ETF (NYSE:BWX), MARKET VECTORS ETF TRJR GOLD MINES (NYSE:GDXJ), MEDICAL MARIJUANA I (OTC:MJNA), SINGLEPOINT INC. (OTC:SING), Direxion Trust Shs Direxion Daily Junior Gold Miners Index Bull 3X ETF (NYSE:JNUG). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  PG $-0.160 -0.00% 2,334,531 16.86% 6,288,125 45.42% -3,953,594 -247,100
  BWX $-0.030 -0.00% 64,625 1.57% 4,003,878 96.99% -3,939,253 -1,313,084
  GDXJ $-3.840 -0.10% 8,508,331 11.32% 31,263,115 41.60% -22,754,784 -59,257
  MJNA $-0.010 -0.09% 10,292,800 41.62% 14,438,358 58.38% -4,145,558 -3,986,113
  SING $-0.015 -0.19% 9,629,474 43.29% 12,614,733 56.71% -2,985,259 -1,938,480
  JNUG $-3.010 -0.29% 31,966,957 38.60% 35,739,051 43.15% -3,772,094 -12,532
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PG down $-0.16000 with a Friction Factor of -247,100 and a Net Volume of -3,953,594. That means that it takes 247,100 more shares of selling than buying to drop PG by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
