February 16, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 5461 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2715 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3322 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Thursday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Zenosense Inc. (OTC:ZENO), TOP Ships Inc. (NASDAQ:TOPS), Power Solutions International Inc. (NASDAQ:PSIX), RenovaCare Inc. (OTC:RCAR), Real Goods Solar (NASDAQ:RGSE), Cannabics Pharmaceuticals Inc. (PINK:CNBX). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  ZENO $0.470 0.72% 871,632 54.52% 668,928 41.84% 202,704 4,313
  TOPS $1.140 0.52% 447,628 38.02% 442,582 37.59% 5,046 44
  PSIX $2.350 0.62% 1,381,038 33.12% 1,368,952 32.83% 12,086 51
  RCAR $0.976 0.25% 174,538 44.38% 154,185 39.20% 20,353 208
  RGSE $0.470 0.24% 934,295 43.63% 823,796 38.47% 110,499 2,351
  CNBX $0.980 0.49% 1,786,424 53.31% 1,448,241 43.22% 338,183 3,451
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows ZENO with a dollar gain Thursday of $0.47000 and a Friction Factor of 4,313 shares. That means that it only took 4,313 more shares of buying than selling to move ZENO higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
