February 9, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 5251 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4227 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2167 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Vimpelcom Ltd (NASDAQ:VIP), Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), Gerdau S.A. (NYSE:GGB), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM), Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  VIP $0.050 0.01% 3,449,994 69.36% 939,947 18.90% 2,510,047 502,009
  PFE $0.240 0.01% 12,156,220 41.64% 5,892,609 20.19% 6,263,611 260,984
  GGB $0.050 0.01% 7,802,610 51.07% 2,351,664 15.39% 5,450,946 1,090,189
  AAPL $0.330 0.00% 10,669,913 38.35% 7,016,073 25.22% 3,653,840 110,722
  JPM $1.210 0.01% 5,840,626 38.13% 3,334,185 21.77% 2,506,441 20,714
  MSFT $0.640 0.01% 8,361,631 37.41% 5,951,571 26.63% 2,410,060 37,657
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows VIP with a Net Buy Volume of 2,510,047 shares and a Friction Factor of 502,009 shares. That means that it takes 502,009 more shares of buying than selling to move VIP higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
