January 18, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5361 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3054 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3097 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA), Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF), CANNABIS SCIENCE Inc. (OTC:CBIS). Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLF $0.200 0.01% 23,150,384 33.30% 20,217,422 29.08% 2,932,962 146,648
  BAC $0.580 0.03% 44,239,680 34.73% 39,770,327 31.22% 4,469,353 77,058
  AAPL $0.020 0.00% 9,949,146 42.47% 5,567,670 23.77% 4,381,476 2,190,738
  NVDA $1.800 0.02% 7,088,730 43.61% 4,713,079 28.99% 2,375,651 13,198

  CBIS $0.012 0.15% 63,093,537 53.40% 52,564,212 44.49% 10,529,325 8,774,438
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLF with a Net Buy Volume of 2,932,962 shares and a Friction Factor of 146,648 shares. That means that it takes 146,648 more shares of buying than selling to move XLF higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
