December 22, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 5321 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2190 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3988 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. iShares MSCI Brazil Index Fund (NYSE:EWZ), Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM), Energy Transfer Equity L.P. (NYSE:ETE), MARKET VECTORS ETF TRJR GOLD MINES (NYSE:GDXJ), Dniprogaz JSC (NYSE:DGAZ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  EWZ $0.180 0.01% 5,418,065 33.10% 2,848,706 17.41% 2,569,359 142,742
  CMCSA $0.190 0.00% 3,034,951 44.47% 1,713,090 25.10% 1,321,861 69,572
  XOM $0.590 0.01% 3,543,617 38.24% 1,764,773 19.04% 1,778,844 30,150
  ETE $0.530 0.03% 5,288,089 40.36% 3,033,515 23.15% 2,254,574 42,539
  GDXJ $0.040 0.00% 5,486,715 38.07% 2,005,449 13.91% 3,481,266 870,317
  DGAZ $0.140 0.04% 18,706,465 37.59% 16,663,952 33.49% 2,042,513 145,894
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows EWZ with a Net Buy Volume of 2,569,359 shares and a Friction Factor of 142,742 shares. That means that it takes 142,742 more shares of buying than selling to move EWZ higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
