November 16, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5562 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2855 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3109 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bullish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices rose. Infosys Shs Sponsored American Deposit Receipt Repr 1 Sh (NYSE:INFY), AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. (NYSE:HLT), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:VZ), Ambev S.A. (NYSE:ABEV). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  INFY $0.110 0.01% 1,638,398 23.63% 3,395,705 48.97% -1,757,307 Abnormal
  T $0.390 0.01% 6,187,439 30.00% 7,740,571 37.54% -1,553,132 Abnormal
  HLT $0.060 0.00% 2,247,097 26.25% 4,312,396 50.38% -2,065,299 Abnormal
  AAPL $2.930 0.03% 11,512,605 19.67% 12,905,693 22.05% -1,393,088 Abnormal
  VZ $0.560 0.01% 4,629,417 26.98% 6,467,169 37.69% -1,837,752 Abnormal
  ABEV $0.010 0.00% 7,456,700 33.90% 8,801,425 40.01% -1,344,725 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more selling than buying on Wednesday and their stock prices rose. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows INFY with 1,757,307 greater shares of selling than buying (NetVol) and the stock price was up $0.11000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more selling than buying should cause prices to drop.
