October 27, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 5413 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1863 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4111 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), HP Inc. (NYSE:HPQ), Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NYSE:BMY), Liquidmetal Technologies Inc. (PINK:LQMT), Mind Solutions Inc. (OTC:VOIS), Brista Corp (PINK:MYDX). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  BAC $0.040 0.00% 34,792,897 36.08% 31,853,658 33.03% 2,939,239 734,810
  HPQ $0.030 0.00% 5,714,425 42.11% 3,413,115 25.15% 2,301,310 767,103
  BMY $1.860 0.04% 11,548,834 36.31% 10,038,898 31.56% 1,509,936 8,118
  LQMT $0.032 0.20% 11,891,628 63.86% 6,890,639 37.00% 5,000,989 1,562,809
  VOIS $0.011 0.49% 1,411,163 87.04% 210,063 12.96% 1,201,100 1,082,072
  MYDX $0.013 0.33% 11,457,074 64.06% 6,428,669 35.94% 5,028,405 3,897,988
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows BAC with a Net Buy Volume of 2,939,239 shares and a Friction Factor of 734,810 shares. That means that it takes 734,810 more shares of buying than selling to move BAC higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
