October 14, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 5719 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2672 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3015 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Friday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), United States Oil Fund, LP (NYSE:USO), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), MARKET VECTORS ETF TRJR GOLD MINES (NYSE:GDXJ), Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (NYSE:HPE). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  PFE $-0.100 -0.00% 3,595,253 23.36% 6,520,056 42.37% -2,924,803 -292,480
  T $-0.050 -0.00% 3,084,965 23.13% 5,942,842 44.56% -2,857,877 -571,575
  USO $-0.040 -0.00% 22,418,820 42.40% 25,371,854 47.98% -2,953,034 -738,259
  GDX $-0.470 -0.02% 13,003,633 17.81% 28,563,073 39.12% -15,559,440 -331,052
  GDXJ $-1.010 -0.03% 2,818,021 13.67% 7,289,252 35.35% -4,471,231 -44,270
  HPE $-0.230 -0.01% 2,463,460 18.25% 5,978,547 44.28% -3,515,087 -152,830
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE down $-0.10000 with a Friction Factor of -292,480 and a Net Volume of -2,924,803. That means that it takes 292,480 more shares of selling than buying to drop PFE by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
