September 20, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5710 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2652 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3111 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Calpine Corporation (NYSE:CPN), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund (NYSE:EWJ), Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:VZ), Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc. (NYSE:MTU), United States Oil Fund, LP (NYSE:USO). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  CPN $0.390 0.03% 2,751,739 51.36% 992,288 18.52% 1,759,451 45,114
  EEM $0.020 0.00% 17,250,910 35.94% 12,664,078 26.39% 4,586,832 2,293,416
  EWJ $0.170 0.01% 14,930,719 39.69% 8,712,310 23.16% 6,218,409 365,789
  VZ $0.070 0.00% 6,682,756 47.74% 3,536,888 25.27% 3,145,868 449,410
  MTU $0.070 0.01% 3,245,138 53.60% 479,427 7.92% 2,765,711 395,102
  USO $0.140 0.01% 20,181,553 45.83% 18,071,536 41.04% 2,110,017 150,716
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows CPN with a Net Buy Volume of 1,759,451 shares and a Friction Factor of 45,114 shares. That means that it takes 45,114 more shares of buying than selling to move CPN higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
