January 14, 2013 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 3951 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2838 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2606 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Monday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION (NYSE:BAC), LOWE'S COMPANIES, INC. (NYSE:LOW), J C Penney Company Inc (NYSE:JCP), JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM), Advaxis Inc (OTC:ADXS), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  BAC $-0.160 -1.38% 34,960,423 32.06% 44,601,329 40.90% -9,640,906 -602,557
  LOW $-0.370 -1.02% 2,052,668 21.64% 4,226,619 44.55% -2,173,951 -58,755
  JCP $-0.160 -0.88% 2,971,505 25.45% 4,851,348 41.55% -1,879,843 -117,490
  JPM $-0.690 -1.50% 4,349,415 23.08% 7,481,502 39.70% -3,132,087 -45,393
  ADXS $-0.018 -26.18% 3,780,081 34.09% 7,309,116 65.91% -3,529,035 -1,982,604
  FB $-0.780 -2.46% 46,864,967 47.71% 50,922,786 51.84% -4,057,819 -52,023
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows BAC down $-0.16000 with a Friction Factor of -602,557 and a Net Volume of -9,640,906. That means that it takes 602,557 more shares of selling than buying to drop BAC by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
