June 13, 2012 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 3532 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1765 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3757 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. DELL INC (NASDAQ:DELL), JOHNSON & JOHNSON (NYSE:JNJ), HALLIBURTON CO (NYSE:HAL), ADVAXIS INC (OTC:ADXS), RAPTOR PHARMACEUTICAL CORP (NASDAQ:RPTP), (NASDAQ:ZNGA). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  DELL $0.270 2.26% 22,706,083 53.88% 19,609,409 46.53% 3,096,674 114,692
  JNJ $1.220 1.93% 28,168,360 28.64% 23,955,434 24.36% 4,212,926 34,532
  HAL $0.090 0.32% 5,254,395 34.51% 3,636,799 23.89% 1,617,596 179,733
  ADXS $0.015 16.67% 3,743,570 66.71% 1,867,746 33.29% 1,875,824 1,250,549
  RPTP $0.230 4.23% 2,713,720 86.52% 421,178 13.43% 2,292,542 99,676
  ZNGA $0.080 1.61% 11,594,975 54.21% 9,793,531 45.79% 1,801,444 225,181
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows DELL with a Net Buy Volume of 3,096,674 shares and a Friction Factor of 114,692 shares. That means that it takes 114,692 more shares of buying than selling to move DELL higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
