December 20, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 3554 companies with "abnormal" market making, 5042 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1876 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bullish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices rose. PFIZER INC (NYSE:PFE), Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC), JPMORGAN CHASE & CO (NYSE:JPM), Ford Motor Co (NYSE:F), NATIONAL HEALTHCARE EXCHANGE (OTC:NHCR), RAM POWER CORP (OTC:RAMPF). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     PFE $0.310 1.47% 16,319,853 28.15% 20,184,056 34.82% -3,864,203 Abnormal
     BAC $0.190 3.91% 80,139,542 33.65% 99,370,518 41.72% -19,230,976 Abnormal
     JPM $1.540 5.02% 13,317,579 27.37% 16,516,211 33.95% -3,198,632 Abnormal
     F $0.310 3.09% 14,021,237 31.04% 16,182,768 35.82% -2,161,531 Abnormal
     NHCR $0.010 33.33% 65,600 1.49% 4,349,077 98.51% -4,283,477 Abnormal
     RAMPF $0.042 19.44% 208,839 8.79% 2,143,683 90.20% -1,934,844 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more selling than buying on Tuesday and their stock prices rose. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE with 3,864,203 greater shares of selling than buying (NetVol) and the stock price was up $0.31000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more selling than buying should cause prices to drop.
