December 9, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 3488 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4549 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1900 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Friday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. AMR CORP (NYSE:AMR), EASTMAN KODAK CO (NYSE:EK), ADVAXIS INC (OTC:ADXS), SIONIX CORPORATION (OTCBB:SINX), FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS CORP (NYSE:FTR), (OTCBB:RAYS). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction

     EK $-0.060 -6.71% 3,361,027 28.75% 4,362,170 37.31% -1,001,143 -166,857
     ADXS $-0.024 -13.41% 1,305,954 33.86% 2,550,827 66.14% -1,244,873 -518,697
     SINX $-0.011 -23.74% 200,000 10.78% 1,655,799 89.22% -1,455,799 -1,288,318
     FTR $-0.020 -0.37% 4,331,910 31.62% 5,328,057 38.89% -996,147 -498,074
     RAYS $-0.520 -30.95% 2,162,365 33.88% 3,538,844 55.45% -1,376,479 -26,471
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows AMR down $-0.11000 with a Friction Factor of -481,787 and a Net Volume of -5,299,660. That means that it takes 481,787 more shares of selling than buying to drop AMR by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
