December 8, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 3501 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1283 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4994 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. GENEREX BIOTECHNOLOGY CORP (NASDAQ:GNBT), MGIC INVESTMENT CORP (NYSE:MTG), ROBERT HALF INTL INC (NYSE:RHI), TALBOTS INC (NYSE:TLB), AFFYMAX INC (NASDAQ:AFFY), BIOPHARM ASIA INC (OTC:BFAR). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     GNBT $0.017 20.48% 4,823,892 63.81% 2,734,729 36.17% 2,089,163 1,214,630
     MTG $0.010 0.28% 4,642,096 32.69% 4,161,806 29.30% 480,290 480,290
     RHI $0.030 0.11% 1,210,556 42.71% 743,873 26.24% 466,683 155,561
     TLB $0.100 3.77% 1,424,769 40.65% 950,352 27.11% 474,417 47,442
     AFFY $2.140 36.57% 10,792,689 50.35% 10,327,936 48.18% 464,753 2,172
     BFAR $0.017 18.75% 611,528 82.34% 131,134 17.66% 480,394 291,148
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows GNBT with a Net Buy Volume of 2,089,163 shares and a Friction Factor of 1,214,630 shares. That means that it takes 1,214,630 more shares of buying than selling to move GNBT higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
