December 6, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 3643 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2613 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3259 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Tuesday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. RIT TECHNOLOGIES LTD (NASDAQ:RITT), FRONTLINE LTD (NYSE:FRO), DHT HOLDINGS INC (NYSE:DHT), CYTODYN INC (OTC:CYDY), QUADRA FNX MINING LTD (OTC:QADMF), (OTC:BORK). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     RITT $1.250 38.75% 186,114 54.62% 150,036 44.03% 36,078 289
     FRO $0.640 18.08% 3,010,616 35.30% 3,002,331 35.20% 8,285 129
     DHT $0.220 25.97% 1,105,610 38.62% 652,921 22.80% 452,689 20,577
     CYDY $0.850 23.94% 111,457 56.72% 30,285 15.41% 81,172 955
     QADMF $4.500 40.11% 136,978 41.31% 103,710 31.28% 33,268 74
     BORK $0.280 28.87% 108,371 60.83% 48,021 26.96% 60,350 2,155
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows RITT with a dollar gain Tuesday of $1.25000 and a Friction Factor of 289 shares. That means that it only took 289 more shares of buying than selling to move RITT higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
