November 28, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 4076 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4233 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1918 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Monday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. WENDY'S/ARBY'S GROUP INC-A (NYSE:WEN), APPLIED ENERGETICS INC (NASDAQ:AERG), GREAT BASIN GOLD LTD (AMEX:GBG), BIOMASS SECURE POWER INC (OTC:BMSPF), HIGH PLAINS GAS INC (OTCBB:HPGS), (OTC:CFGX). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     WEN $-0.060 -1.23% 2,557,496 22.94% 4,543,469 40.75% -1,985,973 -330,996
     AERG $-0.010 -8.50% 175,724 20.87% 666,289 79.13% -490,565 -490,565
     GBG $-0.070 -6.76% 1,011,586 21.16% 2,039,625 42.67% -1,028,039 -146,863
     BMSPF $-0.021 -54.81% 1,782,582 29.20% 4,321,475 70.80% -2,538,893 -1,203,267
     HPGS $-0.022 -12.94% 1,112,198 37.50% 1,853,906 62.50% -741,708 -337,140
     CFGX $-0.010 -35.71% 1,217,281 30.03% 2,835,940 69.97% -1,618,659 -1,618,659
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows WEN down $-0.06000 with a Friction Factor of -330,996 and a Net Volume of -1,985,973. That means that it takes 330,996 more shares of selling than buying to drop WEN by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
