September 28, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 3753 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1388 companies with positive Friction Factors and 5114 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. NEVADA GEOTHERMAL POWER INC (OTCBB:NGLPF), TOTAL SA-SPON ADR (NYSE:TOT), ADPT CORP (OTC:ADPT), DEUTSCHE TELEKOM AG-SPON ADR (OTC:DTEGY), BLOCKBUSTER INCORPORATED (OTC:BLOBQ), TERRESTAR CORP (OTC:TSTRQ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     NGLPF $0.011 8.98% 838,774 90.84% 84,620 9.16% 754,154 685,595
     TOT $0.090 0.20% 3,379,513 37.35% 1,480,760 16.37% 1,898,753 210,973
     ADPT $0.020 0.75% 738,055 78.53% 32,864 3.50% 705,191 352,596
     DTEGY $0.020 0.17% 1,205,770 47.77% 667,329 26.44% 538,441 269,221
     BLOBQ $0.058 75.32% 8,071,353 55.40% 6,381,687 43.80% 1,689,666 291,322
     TSTRQ $0.027 226.67% 8,002,308 67.39% 3,872,029 32.61% 4,130,279 1,518,485
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows NGLPF with a Net Buy Volume of 754,154 shares and a Friction Factor of 685,595 shares. That means that it takes 685,595 more shares of buying than selling to move NGLPF higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
