Its products include plasma based telephonic intercommunication panels, full-mil keyboards, trackballs, and data entry display devices, as well as commercial, non-military ruggedized hardware for prime contractor programs. This segments products are incorporated into surveillance aircraft, including E-2C, E-2D, joint surveillance target attack radar systems, lookdown surveillance aircraft, and anti-submarine warfare requirements; shipboard programs comprising guided missile cruisers and destroyers, guided missile destroyers, battle force tactical training, and amphibious warfare ships; and various land based guidance control programs, such as towed artillery digitization fire control system. The Power segment offers power supplies, AC power sources, frequency converters, uninterruptible power supplies, associated analytical equipment, and other electronic equipment. The company was formerly known as Orbit Instrument Corp. and changed its name to Orbit International Corp. in July 1991. Orbit International Corp. was founded in 1957 and is based in Hauppauge, New York.
