This segment owns and operates approximately 7,000 miles of in service natural gas gathering pipelines, 3 natural gas processing plants, 17 natural gas treating facilities, and 10 natural gas conditioning facilities. Its Intrastate Transportation and Storage segment transports natural gas from various natural gas producing areas through connections with other pipeline systems, as well as through its Oasis pipeline, East Texas pipeline, and natural gas pipeline and storage assets. This segment has approximately 7,700 miles of natural gas transportation pipelines and 3 natural gas storage facilities located in the state of Texas. The companys Interstate Transportation segment operates an interstate natural gas pipeline extending from the gas producing regions of West Texas, eastern and northwestern New Mexico, and southern Colorado primarily to pipeline interconnects and to pipeline interconnects at the California border. This segment owns approximately 2,875 miles of interstate natural gas pipeline; and the 185-mile Fayetteville Express pipeline. Its Retail Propane segment sells propane and propane-related products and services to residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers. Energy Transfer Partners GP, L.P. serves as a general partner of the company. Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. was founded in 2002 and is based in Dallas, Texas.
