August 4, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 3498 companies with "abnormal" market making, 952 companies with positive Friction Factors and 7088 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. NUCLEAR SOLUTIONS INC (OTC:NSOL), HARBIN ELECTRIC INC (NASDAQ:HRBN), DENNY'S CORP (NASDAQ:DENN), BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA PERSER (OTC:BKRKF), TELEKOM AUSTRIA AG (OTC:TKMAF), PROSHARES ULTRAPRO SHORT QQQ (NASDAQ:SQQQ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     NSOL $0.014 46.67% 497,132 63.73% 282,978 36.27% 214,154 152,967
     HRBN $0.320 1.81% 1,261,904 57.38% 788,018 35.83% 473,886 14,809
     DENN $0.140 3.41% 1,109,269 56.87% 834,908 42.80% 274,361 19,597
     BKRKF $0.068 9.07% 1,994,380 98.63% 54,700 2.71% 1,939,680 286,935
     TKMAF $0.040 0.29% 21,025,000 65.65% 11,000,000 34.35% 10,025,000 2,506,250
     SQQQ $3.230 13.13% 1,477,863 55.47% 1,185,257 44.48% 292,606 906
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows NSOL with a Net Buy Volume of 214,154 shares and a Friction Factor of 152,967 shares. That means that it takes 152,967 more shares of buying than selling to move NSOL higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
