August 3, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 4485 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2841 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3640 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION (NYSE:BAC), NEWS CORP-B (NASDAQ:NWS), SPRINT NEXTEL CORP (NYSE:S), TELEKOM AUSTRIA AG (OTC:TKMAF), FINMECCANICA SPA-UNSPN ADR (OTC:FINMY), KAZAKHGOLD-SPN GDR (OTC:KAZAY). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     BAC $0.050 0.47% 57,103,730 32.57% 50,651,972 28.89% 6,451,758 1,290,352
     NWS $0.260 1.64% 6,662,135 64.29% 3,696,615 35.67% 2,965,520 114,058
     S $0.170 4.25% 28,761,107 36.46% 25,953,433 32.90% 2,807,674 165,157
     TKMAF $0.040 0.29% 21,025,000 65.65% 11,000,000 34.35% 10,025,000 2,506,250
     FINMY $0.090 2.56% 4,062,235 49.08% 48,671 0.59% 4,013,564 445,952
     KAZAY $0.120 3.48% 3,286,287 93.08% 218,330 6.18% 3,067,957 255,663
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows BAC with a Net Buy Volume of 6,451,758 shares and a Friction Factor of 1,290,352 shares. That means that it takes 1,290,352 more shares of buying than selling to move BAC higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
