July 26, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 4108 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2577 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3993 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage loss per share Tuesday and low price friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. SOUTHWEST BANCORP INC/OKLA (NASDAQ:OKSB), TEAMSTAFF INC (NASDAQ:TSTF), VASCO DATA SECURITY INTL (NASDAQ:VDSI), Southwest Bancorp Inc. Southwest Capital Trust II Trust Preferred Securities (NASDAQ:OKSBP), SENTRY PETROLEUM LTD (OTCBB:SPLM), Wowjoint Holdings Limited - Common Shares (NASDAQ:BWOW). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     OKSB $-3.530 -34.44% 659,304 42.15% 901,111 57.60% -241,807 -685
     TSTF $-0.390 -15.92% 74,961 38.68% 118,651 61.22% -43,690 -1,120
     VDSI $-2.010 -15.86% 486,045 46.48% 556,490 53.22% -70,445 -350
     OKSBP $-7.670 -28.41% 55,565 43.84% 65,805 51.92% -10,240 -13
     SPLM $-0.460 -20.44% 256,954 46.25% 293,928 52.90% -36,974 -804
     BWOW $-0.810 -23.08% 145,226 44.48% 179,548 55.00% -34,322 -424
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar losses (Change) and extremely low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows OKSB with a dollar loss Tuesday of $-3.53000 and a Friction Factor of -685 shares. That means that it only took 685 more shares of selling than buying to move OKSB lower by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to drop quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and negative market direction can drive prices lower faster than normal.
