May 18, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 2490 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3614 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1497 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Wednesday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. HYPERDYNAMICS CORP (AMEX:HDY), JAGUAR MINING INC (NYSE:JAG), ORION ENERGY SYSTEMS INC (AMEX:OESX), OMNITEK ENGINEERING CORP (OTC:OMTK), Easy Groups Ltd. (OTC:ESYL), IVT SOFTWARE INCORPORATED (OTC:IVTW). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     HDY $0.720 22.64% 1,719,143 36.13% 1,505,432 31.63% 213,711 2,968
     JAG $1.000 23.20% 1,702,966 37.05% 1,284,357 27.94% 418,609 4,186
     OESX $0.820 24.85% 45,474 48.67% 28,472 30.47% 17,002 207
     OMTK $0.550 50.00% 61,465 22.22% 43,008 15.54% 18,457 336
     ESYL $0.260 22.41% 329,967 61.47% 135,950 25.32% 194,017 7,462
     IVTW $0.490 22.37% 90,506 50.23% 84,373 46.83% 6,133 125
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows HDY with a dollar gain Wednesday of $0.72000 and a Friction Factor of 2,968 shares. That means that it only took 2,968 more shares of buying than selling to move HDY higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
