April 13, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 2568 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2508 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2763 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. MICRON TECHNOLOGY INC (NASDAQ:MU), ISHARES MSCI JAPAN INDEX FD (NYSE:EWJ), SPRINT NEXTEL CORP (NYSE:S), EL PASO CORP (NYSE:EP), KRAIG BIOCRAFT LABORATORIES (OTC:KBLB), RAPID FIRE MARKETING INC (OTC:RFMK). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     MU $0.080 0.72% 16,702,272 53.75% 14,272,710 45.93% 2,429,562 303,695
     EWJ $0.060 0.60% 15,060,936 59.89% 12,124,628 48.21% 2,936,308 489,385
     S $0.020 0.42% 24,617,080 47.06% 22,319,929 42.67% 2,297,151 1,148,576
     EP $0.340 2.00% 11,902,389 66.83% 4,585,631 25.75% 7,316,758 215,199
     KBLB $0.051 54.59% 7,889,249 57.98% 5,712,452 41.98% 2,176,797 431,049
     RFMK $0.010 179.31% 14,159,499 56.19% 11,000,625 43.65% 3,158,874 3,037,379
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows MU with a Net Buy Volume of 2,429,562 shares and a Friction Factor of 303,695 shares. That means that it takes 303,695 more shares of buying than selling to move MU higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
