March 30, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 2291 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3810 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1754 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. ELITE PHARMACEUTICALS INC (OTC:ELTP), BROADWIND ENERGY INC (NASDAQ:BWEN), FINANCIAL SELECT SECTOR SPDR (NYSE:XLF), BANK OF AMERICA CORP (NYSE:BAC), GENERAL ELECTRIC CO (NYSE:GE), INTEL CORP (NASDAQ:INTC). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     ELTP $0.012 16.08% 6,989,730 74.38% 2,397,859 25.52% 4,591,871 3,992,931
     BWEN $0.050 3.65% 5,922,529 137.09% 1,024,913 23.72% 4,897,616 979,523
     XLF $0.150 0.92% 34,636,464 56.21% 27,778,895 45.08% 6,857,569 457,171
     BAC $0.110 0.82% 57,193,970 47.25% 52,173,280 43.11% 5,020,690 456,426
     GE $0.280 1.41% 21,570,063 45.92% 18,752,624 39.92% 2,817,439 100,623
     INTC $0.160 0.79% 34,225,161 62.72% 23,989,840 43.97% 10,235,321 639,708
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows ELTP with a Net Buy Volume of 4,591,871 shares and a Friction Factor of 3,992,931 shares. That means that it takes 3,992,931 more shares of buying than selling to move ELTP higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
