March 15, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 2973 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1339 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3753 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. WINDSTREAM CORP (NYSE:WIN), ISHARES BARCLAYS 20+ YEAR TR (NYSE:TLT), IMMERSION CORPORATION (NASDAQ:IMMR), SUNTECH POWER HOLDINGS-ADR (NYSE:STP), US NATURAL GAS FUND LP (NYSE:UNG), EVERYBODY'S PHONE CO CORP (OTC:EVPH). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     WIN $0.070 0.54% 14,672,860 81.37% 3,356,480 18.61% 11,316,380 1,616,626
     TLT $1.330 1.45% 10,505,407 63.41% 6,063,161 36.59% 4,442,246 33,400
     IMMR $0.030 0.45% 1,792,191 92.56% 144,128 7.44% 1,648,063 549,354
     STP $0.820 9.90% 6,532,296 51.25% 5,176,791 40.61% 1,355,505 16,531
     UNG $0.120 1.15% 17,482,577 53.54% 15,386,413 47.12% 2,096,164 174,680
     EVPH $0.033 173.68% 16,816,448 58.88% 10,607,599 37.14% 6,208,849 1,881,469
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows WIN with a Net Buy Volume of 11,316,380 shares and a Friction Factor of 1,616,626 shares. That means that it takes 1,616,626 more shares of buying than selling to move WIN higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
