The Los Angeles Times has announced its Class of 2025 spring interns, welcoming a diverse group of 12 journalism students from various universities across the U.S. These interns will work in different departments including Metro, Business, Entertainment, and more, gaining hands-on experience in one of the nation's premier newsrooms. The internship program, which runs for 10 weeks, aims to provide these budding journalists with mentorship, practical skills, and exposure to the fast-paced environment of professional journalism. The interns come from schools like UC Berkeley, USC, and Northwestern University, bringing with them a range of backgrounds and interests, from investigative reporting to multimedia storytelling. This initiative reflects the L.A. Times' commitment to nurturing the next generation of journalists.
