Chinese astronauts install debris shields on Tiangong space station during 8.5-hour spacewalk (video)

During an 8.5-hour spacewalk, Chinese astronauts Jing Haipeng and Zhu Yangzhu successfully installed debris shields on the Tiangong space station to protect it from space debris. This spacewalk, which took place on March 2, 2023, was part of ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade the station. The astronauts also conducted other maintenance tasks, including the installation of foot restraints and an inter-module connecting device.
